This photo was taken on the 13th of February 2012 by Beth Cleverleys Grandad. Unfortunatley, one of my friends couldn't be in this, but basically her and the other six in this photo are my all time favourite best friends. I have individual memories specific to each of these girls which will stick with me forever. These are the people who make me who i am and also have changed my views in life. Each person is special in their own ways and i know i could turn to any of them if i ever needed to. They are all beautiful, but perhaps im bestfriend blinded. This means, no matter what, i think my friends are prettier than anyone else. So yeah, i couldn't really imagine my life without them, they are brilliant. I love you Alisha Brown, Poppy Ford, Katie Thompson, Megan Theyer, Beth Cleverley, Courtney Tobin and also Maddie Dean who is not in this photo<3

Kit Kat cupcake recipe
Kit Kat cupcake recipe
So, this recipe makes 12 yummy cupcakes!
Ingredients-
FOR THE SPONGE:
-100g self-raising flour
-20g cocoa powder
-145g caster sugar
-40g butter
-120ml milk
-1 large egg
-1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essense
-1tsp instant cofee
-3 KitKat chocolate bars
FOR THE FROSTING:
-225g butter
-350g icing sugar
-50g cocoa powder
-1tbsp milk
-6 KitKat chocolate bars
1)For the sponge: preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4 and line a 12-hole tin with cupcake paper cases. Tip the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and butter into a food processor and blitz on a slow speed for one minute, until you achieve a sandy consistency.
2)Gradually pour in half of the milk and beat until just incorporated. Don’t worry if it looks a little messy at this stage – it will come together! In a separate bowl, whisk the remaining milk together with the egg, vanilla extract and coffee. Pour into the batter and beat for a couple of minutes until smooth, scraping down the side of the bowl to catch any unmixed ingredients as you go. Lastly, gently fold through the crushed Kit Kat until thoroughly combined.
3)Divide the mixture between the 12 paper cases, filling each one up two-thirds full. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the sponge bounces back when prodded with a finger. Leave to cool on a wire rack while you make the frosting.
4)For the frosting: tip the butter, icing sugar and cocoa powder into a food processor and beat until well combined. Add the milk and then beat again for a couple of minutes until light and fluffy.
5)When the sponges have cooled completely, carefully spoon a third of the frosting into a piping bag and use it to decorate the first four cupcakes. Repeat until you have finished them all. Alternatively, just use a palette knife to spread about 2 tbsp of frosting onto each cupcake.
6)Decorate with shards of Kit Kat, and maybe a sprinkle of crushed Kit Kat too.
Mine really were delicious but instead of taking a picture of mine (they did look disastrous) i will leave you with this photo i found off of the internet.
Have fun!<3
Mac Makeup!!
Glitter and ice mineralize eye shadow
This product was quite pricey, £16.50, yet it has such a natural, icy finish with 6 different frosty shades in it. I was a bit weary of buying it at first as i havn't been a massive fan of the previous mineralize eye shadows however i was vey impressed with this one as it went on not too glittery and super soft! If you fancy a neutral look, this is a must buy yet it goes on better with primer on underneath.
Viva Glam Gaga
I got given this lipstick and it is part of the Lady Gaga range. I love th colour, however i absolutley hate Lady Gaga. If you know me, you'll know that whenever i hear Lady Gaga, i just have to cover my ears, run away to a foreign country and never come back. But anyway, forgetting her, lets get back to the lipstick. I love it because it' such a creamy colour and it gives a lovely sheen even and give your lips a nude finish without it looking like you smeared a whole pot of foundation over your lips. Its brilliant for both day and night and you can wear it with lip gloss for a shiny look. However, i have quite olivy skin and red lips, i think this is better for people with pale skin.
Golden Bronzing Powder
I don't usually buy makeup this expensive, i normally go into boots and buy the cheap natural colletion, though this was a one off. The bronzing powder was £18.50 and it was worth it. It is enhances your skin tone really well with a smooth finish. Its really blendable and soft and you can build it up easily. I really want to try some more colours now!
Topshop Lipstick - Infrared
I recently purchased this lipstick because I had been looking for this colour for ages. I wanted a good one just not too pricey, and then I found one in topshop for £8. Bargain compared to some I had previously looked at! It's called infrared and the colour is sort of an orangey red. I really like it because if your wearing something quite plain it just adds some colour to your outfit. I didn't want a colour to be too bright and this one isn't, yet the picture makes it look extremely bright due to the poor, unnatural light! The lipstick gives your lips a sort of velvet finish and it makes your lips look smooth, moisturiser and nourished. The colour is beautiful and it has a very matte look and I find if you want a different look, wear it with gloss for a shiny effect. I saw this lipstick on one of Zoellas videos or blog posts and just had to get it because it looked so nice on her!
Hot Chocolate!
I'm not going to lie to you, I'm not actually that big a fan of hot chocolate? But don't you just think this looks sooooo nice? I have a real craving for hot chocolate in this moment of time but after I always regret drinking it:/ ah well, hot chocolate here I come!
